14/10/8/9/12/9

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark orange with a white head. Aroma is mild toasted malty, bitter, grassy and dry hoppy. Dry and grassy into a bone dry finish. Simple.

Amber-brown. Thick head. Funky, like rot and sewage. Soapy, quite sewagey and a bit sour. Really poor QC here, and the barman refused to take it back or issue a refund when a member of our party pointed out how flawed the beer was. Guess if you don’t speak Czech you don’t know enough about beer to know when a beer is off. Screw this brewery.

Draught (as "Podzimni Ležak 16°", Alc 6.5%): Deep amber coloured, firm stable off-white head; caramelly and hoppy nose with a subtle fruitiness underneath plus a yeasty touch; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering roasty and caramelly finish with a strong hoppy perfume; no plums detectable. Good, heavy Lager, for God’s sake not so fruity.....
