(6/23/08) Bottle at the brewpub in Prague. Deep reddish-amber with a small beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, dark fruits hints and honey. Very sweet flavor with caramel, sugar and maybe some toasted notes. Medium to full-bodied, slightly syrupy. Maybe slightly too sweet but still good.

(Draught at U Medvídku brewpub, Prague, 19 July 2008) Reddish brown colour, slightly hazy, with frothy lasting beige head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, spices (clove?), chocolate and leather. Malty taste with toffee, nuts and a spicy, bittersweet finish. Medium body. Very nice start to my Prague holiday.

33 cL bottle at the brewpub. Pours golden amber and hazy with a lacing tan head. Berry citric aroma, quite inviting. Full bodied. Flavour is mild citric to berry fruity with a mild acidic touch. Dry wooden barrel note. Finish is a mix of barrel and berry fruity flavours with notes of overripe fruit. Solid, smooth and nice.

On tap at the "U medvidku", Praha: Deep amber coloured, quickly vanishing beige-brownish head; dried fruit, roasted malt in the sweet-caramelly nose; full sweet flavour, full bodied, a bit sirupy; leather and tobacco in the sweet finish, rounded by a shy bitter aftertaste. Absolutely not my cup of tea, but a very interesting cough-syrup....
