Draft at Momokaka, Georgetown, Penang. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin off-white head and some broken lace. The aroma is roasted malt, ashtray, with a somewhat smooth, roasty, light ashtray, earthy, light caramel, light liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. Not a bad Porter at all. Very English!

Draft at Momokaka, Georgetown, Penang. Poured a clear copper colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is big toffee caramel malt. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter, with a smooth, rich, toffee caramel, nutty, earthy, herbal, light woody hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Strikingly similar to the Paperkite Copper Ale :-)

Draft at Momokaka. Poured a clear golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is woody herbal. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a crisp, fresh herbal Tongkat Ali palate! Medium bodied with average carbonation. If you have touched and smelled the Tongkat Ali root you will know this is authentic. Won’t be for everyone, but the Malaysians will love it. It supposedly has health benefits too.

Draft at Momokaka, Georgetown, Penang. Poured a clear golden colour with a big lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light banana bubblegum. The flavour is herbal, super light sour, with a fresh, crisp, herbal, yeasty, light banana, mineral, light floral palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Crisp fresh and tasty. I’m told that the hint of sourness came from some sneaky blending. Super refreshing and perfect for the climate.

Draft at Momokaka, Penang. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt and lager yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, malty, yeasty, light herbal, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A solid lager.

Tap at Momokaka. Poured almost blank in colour with a big, lasting frothy off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light dry ashtray. The flavour is over moderate liqourice bitter, with a rich, smooth, dry, roasty, ashtray, coffee, earthy, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. A real old skool impy stout.
