28/2/2020. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2020. Pours clear bright straw gold with a bubbly white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits and grass. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Slight oily texture. Floral, biscuity finish.

24/8/2018. Cask at the 41st Peterborough Beer Festival. Pours clear gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, malt, biscuit and flowers. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Hope & Anchor, Bristol May 2017. Amber in colour, with a thin, white, head. Leafy hops, Hedgerow fruits, some slightly bready malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Bottle on hols, 27/04/16. Light black with a dcent tan covering. Nose is sweet malt, chocolate, raisens, toffee, biscuit, light charr. Taste comprises cocoa powder, light roast malt tones, charr, spice, dark fruit esters, baking powder, toffee fudge. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close with a bitter sweet edge. Decent enough porter.

Cask at NWAF, Derby 2014. Dark brown pour with a beige head. Licorice toffee and chocolate aroma. Licorice and chocolate flavour. A little thin bodied.
