Can 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a rich, frothy and lacing white head with good retention. Discreet malty nose. Body is kinda thin but extremely soft on the palate. Slightly bubblegummy with little bitterness. But smooth, quenching and easygoing. 210824

Rerate, June 2012: 500 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, large and lasting white head. Floral and sweetish aroma. The flavour is sweetish and not offensive, but has far too little bitterness. I’m sorry, I have to take a couple points off.
Original rating, 2002: My favourite Norwegian pilsener for a (rare) warm summer’s day, easy drinking but a lot better than the various tasteless ’summer specials’. Brewed in one of Norway’s ’summer cities’ on the South Coast, this refreshing pils could still use a little more hoppy ’bite’.

Can 50 cl. Pours a hazy yellow with a creamy and lacing, white head. Passionfruit in the nose, clearly from artificial flavoring - NO hop or real fruit could give this intense an aroma. Light body, super dry tropical fruitiness with notes as above. Dry finish with a short, chemical bitterness. 130824

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a creamy, white head. Perfumy, artificial aroma - apparently from litchi, but it smells like passionfruit. Medium body, a slight fruity sweetness and then this chemical bitterness from the artificial aromas - paired with perfumy/bubblegummy flavors. No real bitterness though. I'm getting a little tired of these artificial bubblegum beers from Norway. 130824

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark golden - borderline amber actually - with a solid and lacing, white head. Decent malt aroma. Light body, again decent malt accents with a subtle sweetness. Subdued bitterness. Quite decent and drinkable. 040824
