Can from Appellation Wines. Pours cloudy yellow-brown with a thick off-white white head. Aromas of lemon and white pepper. Taste adds bread notes and yeast spice. Tangy, dry finish. They do a good saison these guys.

440ml can from Wee Beer Shop at Pollokshaw Road - Murky old gold body with a frothy white effervescent top. Peppery citrus tang, plenty of hoppiness, dry and fresh at the same time, drying grassy finish.

Appearance - murky yellow to brown with a foamy white head.
Nose - candied lemon, white pepper and fresh citrus too.
Taste - more lemon, white pepper, candied and fresh too.
Palate - light to medium bodied, tangy and dry finish.
Overall - classic example of a Saison. To be honest, didn't really notice the dry hopping. It was a straight up and down Saison for me.

Can picked up at Pursuit of Hoppyness, Glasgow. It pours clear yellow - blonde with a medium, bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, fresh , clean, malt - focused, biscuit, sponge cake, muffin, bread, floral, grassy, herbal and a pleasing stone fruit character (apricot, peach & mango). The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, smooth bready malt, sponge cake, biscuit, toasty grains, leafy, grassy, muted herbal accents, dull mint, stone fruits, apricot, peach, permission and tangerine peel. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Well crafted, balanced and quaffable. Nicely done.

Can from Pursuit of Hoppyness, Glasgow. It pours darkest brown to black with a medium khaki head. The aroma is dark roasted, toasted pine, zingy citrus, Terry's chocolate orange, coffee and cacao nibs. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet character, bitterness lingers throughout, rich roasted malt, charred pine, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, berries and peppery spice with a drying, toasted pine finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Well our together and flavourful. Very well done.

Can thanks to McCash. Pours fet black with a thick beige head. Aromas of chocolate, toffee and pine. Taste is more chocolate, roast, pine and light smoke. Chalky texture. Solid bitter finish.
