March First Brewing was founded with the same spirit of independence and tenacity as our nation. Our name pays homage to the great state of Ohio, founded March 1, 1803.
We specialize in “drinkable" craft beer, cider, and spirits, and proudly brew, distill, and bottle in Cincinnati, Ohio. We admittedly do not follow popular trends or industry norms, and it is in precisely this that makes us delightfully unpredictable.

The beer menu at march first near mason says 6%. Nice fresh orange smell, no artificial olfactory. Look is dirty orange with shades of pink. Taste is slightly unsweetened orange, good balance of fruit and beer. Decent co2. Mild bitterness with orange flavors on the finish. Pretty good orange flavored brew, well behaved and civilized.

Pretty funny this stuff is listed s a pale lager, you see very few domestic craft pale lagers listed as pale lager; they are afraid of the style. But I tell you: This is clear and pale lager. IT has a very fresh beery smell. Good level of co2. Npt bad for for a plae lager even a macro. Just a little bit of process feel to it. Overall very good pale lager experience.

~14 oz footed chalice type glass at March First Brewing in Cincinnati, Ohio. The pour is a clear golden yellow with carbonation bubbles rising to the surface with no head. The aroma is sour green apple, candy sugar, and hints of brett. The taste is the bright tart green apple right away, all aspects all the aspects of the apple from skin, to fruit to core. Towards the back, there is a nice bit of brett and then the airheads candy sour element. The palate is medium bodied, close to still with mouth coating cider and airhead candy sour to the finish. Weird and fun and tasty. These sorts of things often go wrong, but this one certainly hit.
