Not really black like most schwartz, its more like darker pale. The photo here is misleading. Nice big foamy head from a pounder can for 3$. Does have a weird farmy dark beer nose, makes my mouth water. Even tho its not a really dark color, it does have a goodly black lager or schwartz attitude on the flavor. Fairly mild with some burnt attitude about itself. Not bad in the middle. Still retaining that schwartz character nicely. Even has pretty good co2 sizzle for a darker beer. Finish does get a little odd, that farmy nose is getting on my nerves and the burnt bitterness really sets in. Probably could only do one of these. This stuff is ok but its got a long way to go to be as good as Anderson El Steinber, Weeping Radish Black Radish, Unita Baba Black Lager or even Crna Kraljica.

Slightly hazy orange with a large foamy head that left great lacing. Bitter with faint fruity hops. Medium finish and body.

Very dark brown with a large foamy tan head that lingered. Sourish and roasty with hints of coffee and wood. Medium finish and body

Very dark brown with orange highlights and a medium sized soapy tan head. Roasty and bitter with strong floral hops. Long finish. Medium body.

Caramel brown with a large foamy head that lingered. Toast malt and vague spices. Medium finish and body.

Red with a small white head. Tart and dryish with a moderate strawberry presence. Long strawberry finish. Medium body.

Caramel brown with a medium sized head. Toasty, woody and bready with faint fruit and astringency. Medium finish and body.

Almost black with a large foamy brown head. Tart with fig, ginger and cinnamon. Long finish. Medium body.
