Not really as cloudy as I was expecting. Somewhat tart nose. Taste is quite bitter but its probably more like a cloudy APA, does not rise to the bitterness factor of most IPA and I'm glad. A tad of rough astringentness about it. Yes, an APA spiced with something I can't identify. Sometimes a little tart in the end and that helps me to like it a bit.

On tap at the source. Almost clear pale. Neutral nose. Good co2. Not a hefe but is much milder and more well behaved than a wheat ale. I don't care for wheat ale but this stuff is not bad. Good finish.

TAp at source. Big & black. Lots of spices on the nose. Its almost an alarming olfactory. Taste is bready with some holiday spices. However, the spice is not over the top like so many holiday brews that simply get right in yer face. Even tho I am not a fan of Christmas beers, this stuff is not too bad. Actually this stuff is actually kind of acceptable. Probably one of the better holiday brews I've experienced, thank you. Hey, maybe I'm getting a little of that Scottish ale in there on the finish? Just asking.

Tap at source. Darker brown eye. Slight sweet yeasty & musty nose. Taste is a little band-aid with some saison in there. Very good co2 on this one. Friendly and easy in the middle for a 7.2%, it hodes teh alky so well. Quite civilized, its growing on me. Reminds a lot of the real old county dubbels, has none of the typical rude ass attitudes of domestic wannah beez. Very good job BL!

Tap at source. Slight haze on pale. Lots of jalapeno pepper on the nose, almost alarming. Taste is very jalapeno but somewhat lacks the expected heat. Tasty pepper. A little bit of heat starts to build in the middle. There is some bitterness too but it never really rises to IPA level. More like an APA in nature. Yes, in the end its more like a milder APA with jalapeno effects, not bad!
