21/07 On tap at Richtar Jakub, Bratislava. It poured hazy golden body with smaller head. Orange, grainy and vegetable aroma. Moderately sweet flavor, light bitterness mixed with bread malt and some weird pea soup (as agreed with Borresteijn, pea and not pee). Medium to fuller bodied with long corny finish. I didn’t feel too much unpleasant vegetable note, so it even might not be infected, anyhow, in my eyes it wasn’t so bad as it was to most of the others, but didn’t like it either.

Tap at Hostinec Richtar Jakub. Hazy brown color with thick beige head. Pine, roasted malt, dried red fruity, roasted malt. Taste, red fruit, pines, roasted malt, tea, floral hops. Long bitter finish. Tasty beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at RJ. Aroma malty, grain, bready. White stable lacing head. Clear golden colour. Taste has moderate bitterness, nice crisp fresh hoppy herbal flavour. Light honeyish malty background. Nicely drinkable, moderate body, moderate carbonation. Very nice 11°.

RBESG ’12, Bratislava. Grand Tasting at Richtar Jakub. Tap. Murky amber colour, thick off-white head. Aroma of loads of fruity hops, barley, coffee, toast, roasted malts, nuts. Flavour is also very fruity, hoppy, light coffee, roast, plastic, yeast, leafy green hops, bitter light coffee finish. Light bodied. Sounds great with all these descriptors, but only the aroma was.

RBESG ’12, Bratislava. Grand Tasting at Richtar Jakub. Tap. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is cream and canned green peas. Flavour is sweet, veggies, green pea fluids, just yuck. Light bodied.

04/05 1 l plastic bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured clear dark brown body with small head. Fine caramel and chocolate aroma. Fine caramel flavor, chicory, coffee and some chocolate towards the end. Medium bodied with a bit short, but pleasant, caramel and coffee dominated finish. A hybrid between a dunkel and a schwarzbier, a pleasant brew.

04/05 A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks for sharing! It poured slightly hazy copper body with medium sized head. Sweetish fruity, some soapy hop aroma. Flavor had a bit of hemp indeed, some fruits but even so vegetables. Altogether was put together in its medium thinner body. Finish was fruity, bad vegetables, but quite short so it wasn’t too ugly. Well, only details divide it from a decent beer, yet when details are rotten it messes up the thing.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012. Hazy dark red orange appearance with a tan head. Spicy, earthy, a bit chewy, caramel aroma. Slight sweet, burnt toasty malty, earthy, light herbal flavor.

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting 2012. Worst beer during the RBESG experience. Cloudy golden appearance with a white head. Veggie, corn, nasty aroma. Cooked corn, celery, infected, yuck flavor. Really bad.

Didn’t note the appearance, strange. Very light coffee and ash mix with a distinctly aromatic hopiness in the nose. Taste... Coffee residue mixing with American hops, light butter and elderflower. Some bitterness. Thought it was one od the best Slovak beers.
