Can/Fest. A- Light, apple. A- Clear color, clear liquid, no head. T- Apple. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- With a name like Grand Slam, I expected more flavor. Certainly decent but really just a plain apple cider is all I got out of it.

Draft. A- Mild funk, apple, subtle caramel, gasoline. A- Clear color, clear liquid, no head. T- Booze, caramel, apple, chapstick. P- Medium body, average texture, medium carbonation, balanced finish. O- The bartenders were warning people against ordering this one, so I tried the sample my wife got with caution. Honestly though it was alright. Quite a bit of caramel. Okay.

Bottle. A- White wine, semi-sweet, subtle honey. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, no head. T- Honey, grape, slightly sweet. P- Light body, semi dry texture, soft carbonation, slightly sweet finish. O- My first mead and a pretty decent one. Hard to believe meads belong alongside beers, but whatever. Nice honey taste. I don’t like wine but this I could drink. Really makes me want to try a Kuhnhenn mead.
