On tap at El Tap San Juan Hazy dark yellow with a small but long lasting bubbly white head. Tropical and citrus fruits rule the nose and flavor. Light lemony tartness hints of cereal maltiness. Not Bad!

32oz crowler from La Taberna Lupulo pours a thick black, ring of beige head. Nose has malt, cola, some Mounds bar, some licorice, nuts, some dark cane sugar. Flavor follows, coconut is there with vanilla too, but its quite restrained. Malt is really the backing, licorice, dark molasses. Just off dry, but pretty drinkable. 7 3 7 4 13

Pint at Dylan's. Hazy gold, white head. Nose has sugar, green pepper, honey, hop, lemon lime soda. Flavor is nice, fruitier than the nose lets on, mango, papaya, malt, honey. Tasty. Finishes with some fruit and bitterness. 8 3 8 4 14

Pint at Dylan's Biergarten, pours a dark brown black, creamy off white head. Nose has mint, herbs, malt. Flavor has a lot of mint and malt. Very minty. Doesn't read ginger at all. Dry and bitter finish. 7 4 7 3 12
