Malty old school IPA. Big body, lots of malt. Golden pour with decent head. Bitter finish. Good body just not much extra zing to give this character. Can at the beach at Ocean Park.

On tap at El Tap San Juan Hazy dark yellow with a small but long lasting bubbly white head. Tropical and citrus fruits rule the nose and flavor. Light lemony tartness hints of cereal maltiness. Not Bad!

Draft. Black beer with a light brown head. Light chocolate and light coconut aroma. Chocolate and light coconut flavor with light roast and lactose. Medium bodied. Coconut and light chocolate linger with light caramel and lactose.

Draft. Mahogany beer with a light tan head. Light caramel aroma. Caramel and light nutty flavor with light roast. Medium bodied. caramel and light nuttiness lingers with light citrus.

Draft. Golden-amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit and light pine aroma. grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and pine linger.

32oz crowler from La Taberna Lupulo pours a thick black, ring of beige head.  Nose has malt, cola, some Mounds bar, some licorice, nuts, some dark cane sugar.  Flavor follows, coconut is there with vanilla too, but its quite restrained.  Malt is really the backing, licorice, dark molasses.  Just off dry, but pretty drinkable.  7 3 7 4 13

Pint at Dylan's.  Hazy gold, white head.  Nose has sugar, green pepper, honey, hop, lemon lime soda.  Flavor is nice, fruitier than the nose lets on, mango, papaya, malt, honey.  Tasty.  Finishes with some fruit and bitterness.  8 3 8 4 14

Pint at Dylan's Biergarten, pours a dark brown black, creamy off white head.  Nose has mint, herbs, malt.  Flavor has a lot of mint and malt.  Very minty. Doesn't read ginger at all.  Dry and bitter finish.  7 4 7 3 12
