Aroma is grainy stale sweet worty with light hops. Taste is sweet grainy with that sparkle of every 0abv beer. Pretty bland but not totally undrinkable.

Bottle from a local supermarket. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Shy roasty notes. Mild woody hints, some herbs. Finish well balanced. Not as sweet as other schwarzbiers. Quite drinkable. Not bad!

0.5L bottle thanks to weizen-slayer!!! Pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is crisp grain notes some light sweet malts and a touch of hops. Taste is more of the nice light malts some grain and a crisp clean finish.

330ml bottle pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is nice light grain some grass and a little sweet malt. Taste is more of the nice light malts grassy hops and a touch of spice.

Maxlrainer Festbier, Flasche von Ambrosetti. - Altgold, blank. - In der Nase fast schon bockbierartig sattes Malz, zart toastig, karamel- und fein vanillesüß, deutliche Butter und milde aber angenehme hopfenwürzig-orangenfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk etwas plump malzschwer und karamelsüß mit Anklängen an Honig; die herbale Hopfung ist angenehm aber arg zahm, trotz runder Orangensüße. Zu wenig vollmundig. Im Abgang nachhallende Süße und milde, von Orange bestimmte Hopfung. - Brauchbar aber etwas zu zahm. (28.1.2024.)
