Moderately hazed golden orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is ripe melon, mixed tropicana, grass, papaya.
Taste comprises sweet tropicana, mandarin, melon, papaya, tangerine.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Okay stuff but running overly sweet for my palate and lacking bitterness.

Can. A mild haze on this gold beer, small and fairly short lived pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a very mild dryness and a very mild viscosity, reasonable fine carbonation emerging late on. Smooth sweet pale malts, overcooked in my book but hasn't gotten milky or any nonsense like that. Hops bring a kinda resinous crystallised fruits vibe, piney jammy citrus, a touch of sweet pink grapefruit and mandarin. A mild hop spice nibble. Light finish. Such a curious dipa. The malt base is too sweet but somehow, the hops kinda work in sympatico and deliver something that is off the beaten track. Now how to say this without coming off as sexist, oh wait, I'm 63 and I don't care - quite possibly this is a DIPA that some ladies would like, I would suggest not ladies that know their craft beer but those who might like to dip their toes in the water so to speak. For me, a head scratcher, whilst I have been trying to work out why this beer is a wrong-un, I have drunk most of it! Yeah! Different and thought provoking.

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met beige schuim wat niet echt lang blijft staan. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met wat chocolade, anijs, wat rook en geroosterd brood. Uitstekend!

Sampled at Billies day 1. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, very grainy, grainy bitters, earthy, brown malts, malty bitterness. Hmm a bit all over the place, not very balanced imo. Drinkable but mwah imo. 8-6-6-6-5,5
