Draft. A- Roasty, mild cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, cocoa, nutty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly dry finish. O- This was okay but the peanut butter was rather dry and roasty. I wanted much more sweetness.

Draft. A- Roasty, cocoa, coffee, char, tobacco. A- Black color, black liquid, beige head. T- Roasty, cocoa, char, Folgers coffee. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- The coffee does taste a bit like a generic brewed black coffee but otherwise this is quite good. A bit of a charred tobacco influence in there. I liked this one. Barrel aging would probably really treat this well.

Sample from growler during the "Local Love 02" tasting on 05/05/2017. Slightly hazy orange color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of herbal yeast, fruit and malt. Medium body with a slightly vinous character and notes of funky yeast, fruit and mild hops. The finish is fruity bubblegum and yeast. Decent overall.

Sample at the CCBW Six One Pour festival on 05/20/2016. Dark brown-amber color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of oak, malt and fruit. Medium to full body with flavors of caramel malt, oak, fruit and earthy hops. The finish is oaky with a dark fruit aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at Kurtkeller 022: Pumpkin-tastic 03 on 10/31/2015. Cloudy dark brownish-amber color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, malt and yeast. Medium body with flavors of mildly sour fruit, peaty malt and yeast. The finish is malty up front with a tart fruity aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the Grandview Summer Session on 08/22/2015. The beer pours a slightly murky amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, citrus and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
