Sample at Forbidden Root during the "Dankhouse Tap Takeover" event on 09/19/2025. Slightly hazy bright yellow-orange color with a medium thin white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Grassy hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Light body with flavors of grassy hop, juicy tropical fruit and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the Columbus brewpub. Clear pale golden color with a medium bright white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, oak, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal yeast, oak, citrus and doughy malt. The finish is mildly funky yeast and oak. Above average overall.

The aroma consists of fruit, nuts and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of strawberry, peanut butter and doughy yeast. The finish is fruity with a strawberry and peanut aftertaste. Decent overall.

Taster at FoBAB. A very pale gold color in the glass with a slight ring of foam that looks good. The foam dwindles away very quickly. Taste has the yeasty bite of saison with a little bit of coriander. Another very nice and yeasty saison in the middle of some large heavy beers.
