Pours a hazy grey-beige colour with a head that disappears quickly, as it is fizzy, leaving no lacing. Spicy nose with lots of fresh ginger and pine needle notes. The cane sugar balanced the taste between the spiciness of the ginger and the light sweetness. Light malt lingers. Quite refreshing and very spicy ginger, just like real ginger beer pop. Not as sweet as most said it was.

Lemon-lime and ginger nose. Milky yellow, headless. Cane sugar, lemonade with a prickly ginger heat on the back of the palate. Cloying but with a good ginger kick. Light body. Not very beery. Dial back the sugar please.

(Bottle) Hazy pale yellow gold with no head. Pleasant aroma of ginger. Medium body, slightly syrupy, and well carbonated with a fine bright carbonation. The taste is dramatic: there is so much ginger! It is ginger from the foretaste straight through to the extremely long fiery aftertaste. The flavour profile does change, mostly notably from flavour of ginger to ginger burn, but also there is sweetness that grows fast at the start and then subsides. Normally I would consider this amount of sweetness to be too much; however with the intense ginger and the length of the aftertaste, it is probably necessary for balance. The sweetness seems sugary, not malty. There really is no hint that this is a based on a regular beer and I assume that it is a traditional ginger beer, fermenting sugar. As the former, it would disappoint, but as the latter it is pushing the envelope. A very impressive ginger beer.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours a light ginger color - not red - like the root skin or maybe the root. Not much head, and not for very log. It smells so ginger, and there seems a hint of rum. Med body. Boy is it ginger. It burns. Some sugar, and in this case it may be a good thing to carry the spice. Not noticing Cascade citrus. Just lots of ginger, and maybe a rum note. Damn, but its refreshing after hot yard work.

Bottle. Earthy ginger aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with minimal head. Sugary sweet ginger and malt flavor. Burns in the finish. Tasty - very spicy.

Bottle - Smells like candied ginger. Fizzy hazy pale yellow. Sweet ginger that has a bit of heat in the finish. Although not a good beer, it is the best tasting ginger beer I have had of the lot.
