Description
"I worked across Europe for many years and was privileged to have tasted some of the finest beers that these countries had to offer and in particular the Germanic Biers.

With three 100 litre pots and a couple of gas burners, on my return home ReesBier was born in 2016.

Using traditional lagering techniques and with very basic utilities, we tested many varieties of hops, grain and yeast and we have now our flagship Pilsner.

At the brewery, we in all our types, emulate the Germanic Purity Act the "Reinheitsgebot" purity is our aim, so you'll find that there is nothing in our beers that shouldn't be there. Josh, James, Jules and I are proud to serve you with a quality brewed craft beer but, with the subtlety of home.

Iechyd Da!"

Bottle bought at Spar, Betws. Clear gold. Thick frothy foamy white head. Aroma is sweet with a slightly sour edge - malts, honey, citrus. A metallic edge. Flavourwise it mirrors the aroma to some extent. Amped up sweet edged citrus sourness. Underlying doughy malts. A chemical sweetness. Metallic hints. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable enough.
