Bottle, 0.33l. Deep murky brown, almost black pour, three finger creamy beige head, long lasting, excellent retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Somewhat sweet on the nose, fruity, figs, forest fruits, some toasted caramel notes in the background.
Medium to full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, sticky. Sweet taste with somewhat harsh bitterness building in the aftertaste. Aroma of toaster caramel, brown sugar, forest fruits, figs. Molasses, brown sugar, candy. Some wood notes, licorice, bread. Roasty bitter aftertaste. Long lasting finish, dry, bittersweet, lingering alcohol.
