Pours a thick, dark, cola black, with smallish tan head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is hazelnuts, chocolate, leather, roasted grain. Flavor follows. Not tasting the bourbon at all--needs to be amped up. This actually tastes more like a porter than a stout. And it is way too high-priced. Definitely not worth the money...

Pours a hazy golden peach color, with big white head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor follows, with some nice hoppy bitterness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel. Pretty impressive.

Pours cloudy, copper gold, with big, pillowy head. Aroma is bready, malty, with some citrus and piney hops. Flavor also quite bready, biscuity, with malt, citrus, some pine-spruce hoppiness in the finish. Too bready and sweet for my taste

Tap at the brewery. Black, the appearance and palate are good. Heavily roasted grain and malt in the aroma. Flavor is dry with toasted malt, and some flavor of wood ash. A little sweetness in the aftertaste.
