Sampled from the tap at ABR 2025. Pours a near clear amber brown with a yellowish brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has an earthy bread and rye note with a touch of sweetness underlying. Flavor has lots of grains and bread with rye coming through in the finish.

Sampled Pours dark brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has some green apple with dark grains, roasted malts and a bit of bourbon and maple underlying. Flavor has dark grains and bread with some maple with some green apple underlying.

Keg at 7West Downtown Duluth. Hazy pale yellow large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of pale malt, lemon. Taste is lemon candy, lemon, pale malt. Medium bodied, simple. Solid beer.

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2019. Pours a cloudy yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has earthy tropical fruits, dry citrus and a bit of sweet grain. Flavor has a nice dry citrus, light tropical fruits and a light sweet grain backbone.

Pours a dark brown-black, with smallish, tan head that lasts. Aromas of roasted grain, a touch of citrus, some piney hops. Flavor is smooth, with roasted grain, toast, citrus, and pine/spruce hops. Very tasty and well-done beer.

Pours a slightly hazy, pineapple yellow, with mid-sized head of white, fluffy foam that dissipates rapidly. Aroma has a lot of biscuit and cracker elements, big pine hop notes, but not much by way of citrus or tropical fruit notes. Flavor follows. This is much more pine/spruce hoppy than a hazy IPA should be

Sampled from the tap at ABR 2018. Pours a clear gold with an amber hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of bread and straw with a bit of a leaf note underlying. Flavor has bread, straw and grain throughout with some earthiness in the finish.

Sampled from the tap at Minnesota Winterfest 2018. Pours a earthy brown with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has smoke and chocolate with roasted malts, dark grains and hint of chocolate. Flavor has chocolate, dark grains, bread, plastic and a hint of smoke.
