Starts off rough, with a slight berry-like tartness underneath grass and grain notes. Settles down as it warms; kind of nondescript but inoffensive. Straight down the middle.

No frills blonde ale, but drinkable. Crisp malt with a hint of biscuit and a clean, almost unnoticeable bitterness on the back end. Basic.

Not sure I’d have recognized it as an imperial brut IPA if I’d been tasting it blind, but a very good DIPA nonetheless. Juicy notes of pineapple, stone fruit, grapefruit zest, and a touch of sake-like sweetness, with a modest touch of pine on the back end. Great beer after a long drive.

Grainy and sweet, with mild notes of clove and corn. Finishes with a slight bit of floral bitterness. Drinkable, but not all that memorable.

Says “rustic”, but seems to be a straightforward red IPA, with a good mix of toasted bread, caramel, pine, and grapefruit zest. Finishes bitter and bready. Not bad.

Tasty little IPA, nothing fancy but hitting all the right notes. Classic West Coast style with a little eastern fruitiness, offering up grapefruit and toasted grain, backed up by caramel, pine, and a little tropical flourish. Tasty.

Just a solid DIS. Dry and roasted, full of unsweetened cocoa, coffee, a little bell pepper, and a lingering bitter finish. Damn fine pint.

A tad sweet, but the roasted pecan blends nicely with the cocoa and roast, and underlying veins of dark fruit, tobacco, and espresso round things out. Nice.

Quite drinkable red ale, soft and malty, offering up notes of caramel, toasted bread, grain, and a mild floral bitterness on the finish. I could put back a few of these…
