Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a thin, tan head. The aroma is creme brulee, raisin, cocoa, and mahogany. Sweet and sugary. Light to medium body, slick, and clean. Fun and enjoyable.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, amber color, with a small, beige head. The aroma is walnut, caramel, light basil, and brown bread. Sweet and malty, with a light, dank bitterness. Light body, syrupy, and a bit sharp. Fun and bright, if a but funky.

Very good stout, surprisingly deep and rich enough to pass for an imperial stout in a blind tasting. Hefty veins of chocolate, molasses, raisin, and roast are backed up by coffee cherry, espresso, and cherry cordial. Finishes thick and warm and gooey, with a lingering anise-tinged bitterness laced with char and cacao. Really diggin' this brewery I'd never heard of before today.

Quite a unique American brown ale; not sure if I like it because it's good or because I've never tried a brown like it. Big on the toasted malt notes, with a soy-like undertone mixed with cocoa, almonds, and caramel, shored up by a surprising amount of bitterness coming from the Azaccas. Sweet apple and peach pop up on the back end, but the finish is all hop bite, a nice balance to the opening malty salvo. Tasty.

Very straightforward ESB, offering plenty of biscuit and caramel backed by mild citrus, apple, and white pepper, finished off with a bready fade accented by a gentle floral bitterness. Not bad.

Curious beer, with a light, bright, floral pale malt front backed by notes of lemon and sweet grain, followed by a soapy, perfume-like bitterness. Not bad, but a bit hard to love.

Trying not to overstate how much I liked this pint, but I found it wonderful, a beautiful blend of sweet rice, toasted grain, and herbal lemon notes, backed up by hints of black tea, apple, and sake. Finishes crisp and yeasty, with a lingering floral rice fade. Delicious.
