About
Founded in 2018, by Jasper Tupman and Stuart Winstone, who share a passion for foraging, fermentation and flavour. These two invested everything they had, to build their unique vision of carefully crafted beers with a strong sense of place.
Later joined by Dave Williams as Head Brewer and Lee Calnan as Sales Director, 2020 marked the next phase of development for a small team with big ambitions; to bring innovative, modern farmhouse brewing to a wider audience in the UK and beyond.
By brewing with the very best of local ingredients and alternative techniques that span between historic styles and modern brewing technology, our approach to mixed fermentation and barrel ageing puts the emphasis on balance of flavour and drinkability. Minimal intervention is the key to ensuring that there’s a little bit of nature in every sip.

On tap at Roni Rita Folkestone. Black beer not head. Dark chocolate soem lactose milk. Some fudge aroma. A bit too sweet for me. OK like a sweet milk stout.

Keg at the Courtyard, Harborne. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small head. Aroma is sherbet, perfume and bubblegum. Taste has sharp perfume and bubblegum. Quite gassy.

Draught at the Castle, Leicester. Light yellow hold and very hazy with a small film of white head. Aroma is sweet with big notes of melon, a little banana as well. Taste is more sour with more melon & banana, a little Cel-Ray. Hangs together so well. Thick body for the ABV with carbonation held back that little bit. Really good and so different from so many sours out there.

Dora.... kiss my Aura.... it's real angora. Did you know that Tina Turner sang backup on that song? Wild. Anyway. The beer is light gold and clear with a small white head. Fresh mango in the aroma with a suprising but not unwelcome dollop of white pepper. Taste is sweet, more mango and a bit of lactose. Mango fool? It's nice. The finish is fairly short. Very light body with heavier carbonation. Not top tier Yonder but very nice nonetheless.

440ml can. Poured a clear almost black colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, light cherry. The flavour is moderate to light sweet and liquorice bitter, with a roasty, sweet chocolate, light tart cherry, liquorice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Nose is marshmallow, toffee, caramel, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is much the same as above with a nutty backnote. Malty sweet finish.
