Description
Located in the historic center of Chinon, the "Bras(se)fort" brewery is housed on the ground floor of a recently restored old house. Owner and brewer is Simon Armstrong.

The volume of each brew is approximately 200 liters (approx. 1.25 British barrels). With two fermentation tanks and one conditioning tank, this results in a maximum beer production of 160 hl per year.

The finest ingredients are used: malts from "Les Maltiers" in Issoudun blended with specialty grains from the United Kingdom and Germany, hops from around the world, including highly aromatic hops from New Zealand and the United States, and French yeasts.

0,33l bottle from Chinon Fortress, shared with wiosna @ Bonnieul-Matours. Pours cloudy golden with a medium head. Aroma is crisp malts with herbal hops. Flavor is crisp malts, herbal hops. Quite nice.
