Lots of lime and tangerine. Not sure it used saison yeast? But a tasty easy drinking beer with some farmy character

On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear gold color with a white head. The aroma is mildly herbal with some tea, hay and hints of orange. The flavor is very strong with herbal tea, but not astringent. Hints of lemon/lime give it low levels of tartness to complement the peppery and fruity yeast character. Hints of soapy funk in the finish. Oily body. It could be a bit drier, but the flavors are good with the adjuncts used well. The Brett doesn’t shine through as prominently as I’d hoped.

On tap at Relentless. It pours a clear golden color with a large off white head. The aroma is strong with spicy, earthy rye malt and juicy hops. Peach, mango, grass and spice. The flavor is good. Strong earthy/floral bitterness with earthy, toasty rye. The earthiness is balanced with good fruity hop character, lemon oil and spice. Pretty resinous and dry. No off flavors or syrupy mouth feel problems I get with beers that have a lot of rye malt, although it is a bit heavy. Well done.

On tap at the brewery. It pours red with a light pink head. The aroma has much of the same sweet fruity cherry and watermelon character as the base beer with some noticeable, but not overpowering vanilla that adds some nice impressions of cream. The flavor is also similar to the base beer with sweet fruit balanced lightly by some mild acidity. The vanilla really helps round out the palate. Not a vanilla bomb by any means. It’s a little sweeter than I would like and could be crisper in the mouth, but still tasty.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a pinkish red color with a light pink head. The aroma is strong with sweet fruit, some watermelon and cherry with a touch of cough syrup. The flavor is better with authentic, fruity sweet cherry character. The base beer has some tartness, but the sweetness of the fruit stands out more. A little hint of buttered toast in the finish. Very drinkable.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a golden color with a nice white head. The aroma is a little sweeter than the others with some melon esters and berries. The flavor is similar with medium tartness and hints of salt. A little more berry-like sweetness. Vinous. The most wine-like and barrel influenced of the group. Enjoyable.
