Bottle. Golden, clear. Wood/vanilla, licorice and applebarrel nose. White wine barreled Apfelstrudel flavor. Chewy medium dry body. Alspice, nutmeg retronsasal.

Bottle, vintage 2009, bottled 2017. Rather clear golden color with no head. Aroma is thick pear, vanilla, rum-like sweetness, lots of barrel and wood. Taste is rum-coated pear, lots of barrel flavours, walnuts, a touch liquorice. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Very nice, very special! I love this Mostello, it really dares to go to new grounds but stays true to its Austrian roots.

Bottle. Murky amber. Lightly aged dry fruity pear, pearskin and moss. Super dry, initially salt watery, then tannic pear and almond skin, stonefruit percipan, pear brandy finish. Not badly balanced considering how dry it is. Very interesting.

Bottle, vintage 2009, bottled 2017. Murky orange color with no head. Aroma is deep pears, port odixization, walnuts, oakwood and vanilla, and a touch of yeast. Taste is walnuts, pear skin, ashy wood, light yeast again. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Very dry woody finish, flat. A beautiful creation that dares to go to new places but keeps its authentic local Most character.
