Nitro pour at the brewery. Deeply black, thick cap of tan head. Nose is nutty and roasty, malt, oats. Some burnt wheat too. Flavor is malty, but nuttiness, some char of burnt toast. Smooth though. Off dry and easy to drink. Nitro treatment suits this well. 7 5 7 5 14

Pint at the brewery is a clear brown, a little beige head. Nose is simple, black tea, brown sugar, grist, earthy. Flavor is a bit tannic, brown sugar, toasted malt. The tannins are a bit overdone, over mashed maybe. Just off dry.
