On tap at B-Side, pours a clear copper with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out citrus hops, some tang and a touch of diacetyl. Flavour is unfortunately also diacetyl infected, with biscuity malt and piney hops underneath. Sad infection. Fix this and it could be good.

On tap at B-Side, pours a clear copper with mask all white head. Aroma brings out subdued diacetyl and a touch of grapefruit. Flavour is similar, with diacetyl, grapefruit and piney hops. Not as messed up as the non-grapefruit version, but still flawed. Meh.

On tap at B-Side, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal malts and some straw. Flavour is quite robust for the style, though that's not saying much. Lots of straw and cereal malt. Clean enough. It's okay.

Draft pour to a schooner at The Collective. Damn, this beer pours beautifully. Ruby tinted black with an active volcano like thick tan foam head. It’s that good feeling you get when you look at a beer foaming just right, and it hits you that you are about to drink it. If this beer sucks, the appearance makes it great. The beer is pretty good though. Bold aroma of roasted malt. Flavor is very bittersweet. Dark chocolate dominant flavor with bitter up front and sweet lingering in the finish. Robust. Tasty. This beer just gets better with every sip. Very cool to see the little guys brewing big beers, and executing them. Good beer here.

Draft pour pint at the Hop and Hound. Rating #2012, the yeast the world didn’t end (again). Pours an oily copper color with a full cover of foam head and lace. Soft hops and caramel aroma. Flavor is caramel malt heavy, rich and sweet. Subtle hops and a low bitterness. Pretty good, but not much of a standout for me.

Draft pour pint at the brewery, as part of my on foot Woodinville crawl in the rain. Pours black with an active fizz head. Roasted aroma with some dough. Flavor is a little toasty. Lighter body with a very session, easy drinking character to it. Great for the dark beer lover that wants more than just a couple. Quite tasty.

Draft pour pint at the Hop and Hound. New Woodinville brewery, and I need to have ratings for all of them. So far so good. Woodinville has enough breweries now where I have began to lose count, which is a wonderful thing to have happen. I believe this is number 8. Pours a maple color copper with a lasting fizz head. Sweet malt aroma that I wasn’t sure about up front, but it grew on me. Malt heavy pale here, with a sweet, caramel, brown sugar like palate. Very unusual pale here, but I support a unique brew. Hops come in late. Overall a fun introduction to the new brewery.
