Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light brown sugar and crisp apples. Flavour is medium sweet, with light brown sugar and medium crisp apples. A little dull, but it works.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very dry, with crisp apples and a touch of tannins. Flavour is dull and dry, with crisp apple acidity, earthy notes and wood. Flat and unadventurous. Not impressive.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear blonde. Aroma brings out medium sweet honey and a touch of oak. Flavour is medium sweet, with light oak, medium sweet honey and treacle. Not that cohesive - not feeling the aging as elegantly as intended. Very good.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear blonde. Aroma brings out white wine grapes, a touch of wildflower honey. Flavour is medium-heavy sweet, with white grapes, wildflower honey and treacle. Complex and well-balanced, though in cloying territory. Excellent.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear blonde. Aroma brings out lots of oranges, light peaches and medium sweet honey. Flavour is medium sweet, with peaches, oranges, and medium sweet honey. Nice incorporation of the fruit here - not a lot of honey character left that's discernible. Excellent.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a hazy pink. Aroma brings out lightly tart cranberries and a touch of medium sweetness. Flavour is perfectly tart and juicy, with lots of cranberries. Not a whole of honey noticeable. Excellent.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear dark reddish purple with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out blackberry pith and light sweetness. Flavour is medium sweet, with moderately sweet honey, blackberries and a touch of pith. Nicely incorporated fruit here. Very good.

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a clear red, small white head. Aroma brings out fresh raspberries, light pith, and light sweetness. Flavour is medium sweet, with lots of fresh raspberries, light pith and honey. Lovely raspberry character. Complex and well-balanced. Excellent.

Rohan Rio Star Honey Grapefruit Cherrywine from Blissful Folly Farm

Bottle sampled at Rohan, pours a hazy orange. Aroma brings out grapefruit zest, a little citrus, and some wildflower honey. Flavour is medium sweet, with citrus, grapefruit and medium sweet wildflower honey. Nicely balanced, but not as complex as some of the others so far.
