Can, courtesy of Ise. Nearly clear amber, lasting light beige head. Nice woody and slightly meaty smoke in the aroma. Good smoke and a little hoppy bitterness in the flavour. Well done, but could do witha little more body.

Can, courtesy of Ise. Cloudy dark golden, lasting offwhite head. Fruity, hoppy aroma, mild pine. Bitter, hoppy flavour, again some mild pine, some sweet fruity candy notes. Perfumy pine more and more later on. Slightly chewy mouthfeel. Not bad.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep nutty brown with a small, creamy and lacing, beige head. Heavy toffee and caramel in the nose. Super potent and rich, malty body - almost like drinking a mixture of maple syrup and fluid brown sugar. Has an underlying candy or fruit note. Sufficient bittering hops for some sort of balance. Really a malt lovers beer, but well executed. 140524

Can 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with a neat, white head - a good looking beer. Sweet, malty nose - slightly biscuity. Medium body, clean and malty with a hint of crystal malts. No hop aromatics in the nose but a solid finishing bitterness. Well crafted. 140524

Can 44 cl. Pours a murky, cloudy opaqye orangey amber with a rough, off-white and quickly dissipating head. Rather unusual aroma of toffee and tonka beans. Rich sweet'n'tart body with a soft carbonation. Again toffeeish with the tonka beans coming out more in the flavor, and then a slight, underlying tartness. Quite a cheaky use of tonka beans, and an unusual brew indeed. 300424

Can 44 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque mily red with a lively, pinkish head. Discreet lactic tartness in the nose paired with berry notes. Medium body, more sweet than tart in the flavor, some berry notes but cannot really tell that it's red currant. A typical - but unfortunate - tang of baking yeast so often found in this kind of Sours. Fine carbonation. No real bitterness. Not without promise! 250424
