After two years of brewing several times a week as a hobby brewer owner Ricky Maertzendorff took in 2018 the step to become a commercial brewer. Dog Westie inspired the name of White Dog Brewery. The beers are brewed in bulk at another brewery.

Draft @ Hop On Hop Off '25. Pours a turbid deep yellow body and a rocky white head with some retention. Aroma's: dank hops, tropical fruit. Retronasal: dankish, resinous, light fruity. Flavour is moderate bittersweet. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Dry-ish, light moderate bitter finish.

Calling this a WCIPA should get them booted from any sort of brewers group. At the very least an extremely wicked side eye in their direction. Just a touch less hazy than your run of the mill hazies. Topical citrus, mango, papaya, peach. Light malt with some cream. Finish is more fruit tang than bitterness. Was very excited for this and even though it’s not a bad beer, I hate it cause it’s nowhere near a WCIPA and I feel deceived.
