Poured from 473mL can. Black with small tan head. Lots of cinnamon from the amburana, feint vanilla, decent.

473mL can. Pours black with small beige head. Great amburana notes and vanilla on the nose. Flavour has light chocolate and malts, vanilla, and a very nice amburana character on the finish. The amburana is floating on top, rather than being well-integrated. That aside, this is still a very enjoyable beer.

Can. Pours a pitch black hue with a small brown head. A big sweet nose, roast, coffee and licorice. Rich flavors, some bitter dark chocolate, licorice, big vanilla. Not getting a ton of wood, maybe some astringency. Very rich, a thick palate.

16 oz. can, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is loaded with tropical fruits, candied fruits, tons of oily piney and resinous hops, a touch of citrusy tang, and plenty of sweet cereal malt in back. Flavour is wonderfully expressive and cohesive, with powerful piney hops, tropical fruit, melon, some NZ hop tang, and just enough sweet malt to back. Lots of the Mosaic and Riwaka on the finish, but the woody pine of the Chinook also leaves its mark. Excellent.

Starts out like a traditional kolsch then the Strata hops come in. Clear body with thin head. Mixed pleasant aroma. Full refreshing taste with a crisp finish.
