On tap at Brewery Emperial, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, briny and salty, with briny-like pickle notes, coriander and salt. Too briny, not enough yeast character, and just all round not good. Needs work.

On nitro tap at Brewery Emperial, pours a reddish dark brown with a thick beige head. Aroma brings out very light milk chocolate. Flavour has a weird, overly sweet, somewhat artificial milk chocolate character. Smooth and almost syrupy. Not sure what's going on here, but I don't like it.

On tap at Brewery Emperial, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is rather floral and soapy — get that detergent off your glassware before pouring! Flavour is bitter, with bready malt and English bittering hops. Not really true to style or what I want from the style. Meh.

The taste starts with the Belgian yeast, general spice, wheat grain, lemon citrus and finishes with a touch of additional general spices. The palate is light to medium bodied with an unfiltered mouth feel and the yeast spice finish. Solid Wit.

12 oz draft at Brewery Emperial in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is chill hazed golden with a thin white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is a soft tartness, citrus and wheat grain. The taste is soft gentle citrus tartness, the wheat grain, and a bit of the lacto character towards the back. All in all, mildly tart, not really sour. The palate is light bodied, soft natural carbonation and a bit if of lingering soft lacto to the finish. Solid Berliner.

Willebecher draft at Brewery Emperial in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a light haze yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is floral, bright saison yeast and a bit of fruit sweetness. The taste is a nice blend of the floral hop and Saison clove yeast, and the sweet lingering in the finish a bit. As the beer warms, the sweetness integrates nicely and works for this beer. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a grass yeast finish. Clean, easy drinking beer.

Willebecher draft at Brewery Emperial in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed copper orange with a small off white head. The aroma is the malt right away with caramel, toffee and some grass. The taste is the clean fresh malt sweet toffee, nicely blended with the grass and floral hop. I believe this was the British ale yeast batch, at least I perceived that yeast character. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a clean finish. Nice.

~10 oz half pour draft at Brewery Emperial in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a slight haze golden ruby copper with an off white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is sweet fruit, floral and caramel malt. The taste is malt forward, with cereal grain and caramel malt leading off, then balanced nicely with the floral hop. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and gentle malt finish. There is a hint of alcohol in the back of the aftertaste, though it’s well integrated. Solid, a bit on the malty boozy side of the IPA spectrum.

~10 oz half pour draft at Brewery Emperial in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is an opaque black copper with a solid half inch tan head. Nice pretty lace left on the glass. The aroma is roast, some char and light caramel. The taste is dry roast, soft smoke char malt, and very dry - really none of the sweet the nose showed. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and dry roast finish. Nice.
