From a can, so a limited rating. Lots of pine. Not my favorite of theirs.

On tap in a flight. Aroma is brown sugar, molasses, barley. Initial taste is brown sugar, molasses, dark fruit. Fades to bruleed brown sugar, caramel. Body is full with subtle carbonation. Wow. GREAT stuff!

On tap at the brewery in a snifter. Color is like brandy with a small off white head. Aroma is tart cherries, dark fruits. Initial taste is red wine, dark fruit, tart cherries. Fades to a muted tart cherry sweetness. Lighter side of medium body and light carbonation. Sweeter than I expected! Got served by the brewer!

On tap in a flight. Hard to tell on the aroma on a small sample aside from pine. Initial taste is pine, earth, in your face. Fades to the same. Full medium body and steady carbonation. Well done here!

Poured from 355mL can (thanks mom). Clear-ish gold with small white head. Coriander with some underlying bland wheat, lagery finish. Meh (palate cleanser after an adjunct heavy stout).

12 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and some peppery, grainy notes. Flavour is weak and watery, with gentle toasted malt, not a whole lot else. Hard to imagine what the point of this was. Not good.
