Can: Drank from the can like a man. Aroma is grain, malts. Taste is nice grain, light butterscotch but not off putting.

On tap at Magnetic North, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet, with plenty of coffee and lactose. Flavour is much the same, with lots of lactose, light roast coffee, and a touch of vanilla. The palate is light, lacking pizzazz and depth. It's alright but kind of jumbled and lacking integration.

On tap at Magnetic North, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out forceful piney hops, biscuity malt, and a hint of resins. Flavour has a strange hop expression that's rather blunted and seltzery. Perfumey hop powdery finish. Something didn't work so well here. Not great.

On tap at Magnetic North, pours a deep dark near-black with a reddish tinge and a small tan head. Aroma brings out light roasted malt, some toasted bread crust and piney hops. Flavour is fairly gentle, with soft roasted malt and earthy hops that have a touch of pine. A bit soft but strikes a good balance. I want this to be more aggressive; it has the right balance but comes across a bit too timid. As is, still solid but lacking oomph.

On tap at Magnetic North, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out earthy hops, lightly spicy rye, and a touch of pine. Flavour is lightly hopped, with earthy hops, a touch of pine, and bready malt. Clean and drinkable but pretty timid and unexciting. Decent.
