Can from Steve. Hazy, reddish-brown, nice sparkle, annoyingly massive head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma is sweet malt with a hint of green apple. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. As always, a style better off accompanying something else (food) than a stand alone. Green apple adds some interest.

Can shared by Steve. Cloudy, murky light brown, tons of sparkle, decent head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is pine, citrus and grapefruit. Taste follows aroma. Frothy texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Traditional/west coasty IPA from ten years ago. Not memorable.

Draught flight at the brewery, 3/13/25.
Lightly hazed, amber-rust. Small, beige head.
Coffee and chai with strong spice and a softening vanilla.
Yikes. Got a bit carried away with the spice. It's all astringent chai completely sapping the texture. Overdry, thin, no comforting malt whatsoever...well damn! That blonde ale was so nice to start and then the rest of the beers were pretty mediocre-to-bad!

Draught flight at the brewery, 3/13/25.
Deep copper. Clear, small, off-white head.
Heavy iced tea and a bit of berry. Kind of odd. Not very aromatic. Some caramel and pine, I guess.
Yeah, pretty uninspiring, over-boiled PNW hops yielding watery pine and such. Some light caramel. A bit thin in body. Retronasal pine. It's not over-toasted or over-bittered, thankfully, but it doesn't offer much in the way of non-stewed hop.

Draught flight at the brewery, 3/13/25.
Deep brass-bronze. Clear. Small, white head steadily to spotty cover.
Fruity with some sweat and woodiness. Apricot and light pineapple with a hint of pine. Quite WC. Malts are sparse but not toasted or caramelly.
Sweaty, very fruity, with spoiling apricot and intense marmalade. Not enough base malt character or softness/depth. Yet not egregiously thin or anything.

Brewery draught as part of a flight, 3/13/25.
Clear copper-amber. Small, off-white head.
Biscuity, toasty, caramelly. Maybe a bit more specialty malt than needed, but not by much. Good earthiness, herbs and graham cracker lingering. Not a ton of yeast character.
Very toasty with strong butterscotch, herbs, ample bitterness and lightly chewy caramel. Toast and acidity lingering. Yeah, just a bit more toast and caramel and sourdough than I'd prefer but it's not thin, just a bit over-toasted.

Brewery draught, 3/13/25.
Very deep beeswax. Moderate cloudiness. Small ring of bubbles.
Seems clean and moderately fruity. Hint of pineapple and tangerine with cracker and white bread. Not hugely aromatic, but is very cold to start.
Light-bodied but not thin! Clean! Not over/under-hopped. Neat little blonde ale with juicy mango, light pineapple and some kumquat. Gentle but ample bitterness with cracker and highly attenuated honey-like notes from the malt. Nice! Encouraging!
