Take out from the Cider Museum split at the holiday cottage, 28/10/15. Lightly hazed golden blonde with nothing in the way of a head. Nose is funky orchard wood, light smoke, sweet glue strokes, apple peel, wood must. Taste comprises funky apple pie, straw, orchard wood, light sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid farmhouse cider.

From the barrel at the Cider Museum, 27/10/15. Almost clear light golden with a few bubbles atop. Nose is earthy, slight funk, tangy apple, smoked meat, straw. Taste comprises apple orchard, smoked gammon, hay bale, funky orchard fruit, light wood. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent and a pretty dry finale ... A real step up from the medium in this respect.

From a barrel at the museum, 28/10/15. Very lightly hazed orange with little in the way of a head. Nose is sweet apple pulp, straw, earthy apple skins, light wood. Taste comprises sweet apple pie, sugary notes, sweet, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with sweet licks. Ok but too sweet for me.
