Bière 33cl achetée chez Lidl. Robe dorée sombre, aspect standard. Nez doux, houblonné, touche de citron, c'est frais. Bouche bien amère, rien à redire de ce côté là, on sent bien les 55 IBU. (M)

Bottle brought by my parents from France. Pours a cloudy copper/amber colour and an off white head with good retention. Aroma's: fresh, grassy, flowery hops, somewhat piney/resinous. Retronasal it's light hoppy, a bit sweetish and even light plastic at first. Flavour is light sweet and increasingly bitter. Medium bodied. Quite high carbonation. Long finish, with nice resinous bitterness.

Pours hazy orange with a thin, frothy, white head. Aroma of overripe orange, mango, banana, cooked vegetables, honey. Taste has sweet overripe orange, honey & bready malts, bitter fruit rinds, weird spicy, herbal accents giving a medicinal character not unusual in DIPAs but here it leans toward a chemical profile. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, more medicin, yeast & gin-like alcohol warmth. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. I'm not a fan.

Bottle from Antarabangsa, Penang. Poured a hazy light amber colour with a big frothy white head. The aroma is caramel malt, toffee, light tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet, with a crisp, toffee caramel, juicy citrus, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.y
