Pale gold in color with a large fluffy head. Aroma is well balanced with a very slight fruity smell. Taste is also well balanced with a very slight tangy metallic finish that is not unpleasant.

I love peppermint beers. This is a good one. Very dark brown almost black with a small head. Aroma is dark roasted grains and peppermint. Taste is also dark roasted grains, chocolate and a lot of peppermint.

A wonderful dark lager. Clear dark brown with a three-finger tan head. Aroma is dark roasted grains with slight hints of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is also dark roasted grains, chocolate and vanilla. Ahhhhh, dark lagers, my favorite style.

Next Level’s lager game is on point. Nice roasted malt notes with hints of cocoa, apple, and a touch of baking spice, followed by a mild toasted corn sweetness and a subtle floral bitterness on the back end. Nice pint.

Feels weird praising this beer as a syed-in-the-wool Dawg, but…it ain’t bad! Crisp grainy sweetness meets a toasted corn note laced with lemon and white bread, followed by a firm floral bitterness. Pretty top notch, as far as craft adjunct lagers go.

Solid märzen. Smart to add rye malt to the mix; provides a dry, spicy finish to help round out the style’s usual sweetness. Caramel, toasted bread, all the stuff you’d expect, but well-made. Nice pint.
