On tap at the source. GLad they had some beers in between all the sweet junk ciders. Opaque tulip, dense stiff oatmeal head. Cocoa & creme, slight coffee soot nose. Nitro. Oat-y, cafe con leche, very slight citrus, minerally Choco finish. Light & tasty.

Slim 12oz single from Craft Beer Cellar, now RIP. Six months or less in the fridge, really! Lo-ball at home. Clear, oily, pale gold, light soda fizz. Big whiff of perfume-y, pineapple soda. Dried pineapple essence. That's it. Juicy, natural apple box & obscene amount of pineapple flavor added. Lovely chem burn & trash booziness. Bittersweet leaning sweet. Too syrupy fr any semblance to a fresca. Sulfite finish. Crispy!

Very pedestrian option on an otherwise imperial list @On Tap in Arlington. Hazy, dusty, pale pour. Zombie tropical nose. Taste is all zombie. Pineapple & orange juice over a semi tart apple base. Low frothy co2. Lots of chem burn & malic acid. Chem cocktail.

Slightly peachy rose, clear amber goblet @the Moth. Smell is a nice blend of sweet desert apples & appetizing, taught cherry skin. Taste is macerated sugary sweet base, faintly bitter, champagne yeast, oak spiral shit, with a twinge of desperately needed sour cherries. Still too round & sulfite-y. Crispy though. Pass.

8oz goblet @Meddlesome Moth. Very pale, clear, straw pour. Watery, very leafy/lettuce-y sweet salad nose. Typical eversharp greenings, very grassy & seedy, minerally, with a little white pepper, but still on a demi-sec level. Champagne yeast finish, but I could be wrong. Feel is slick, medium carb that does fast, slowly drying out. Okay.

Four pack from Central Market. Drank a couple of these straight before sitting down to rate. Ping glass back @ the bnb. Bleach white soda head quickly dies over a squeaky clean 14k gold body. Nose pushes apple skin, sweet pear, cranberry & medicinal astringency. So the taste is better straight out the can. Pour is acidic & bittersweet, edging sweet. Macintosh & cranberry. Round sugars, turning tea-like & astringent at the end. Sulfites, abrupt stop. Low to moderately low carb, medium body, boozy for the list. Twas okay. Notes from October 2024: At the source. Clear, pale gold, still. Apparently won an award when no one was looking. Yeasty nose, pineapple, delicate mineral fizz, prosecco nose. Lightly chewy, fresh fruit, lightly sweet, medium high acid, soft pineapple, thin & okay follow, mellow sulfites. Delicate mass-fizzy.
