12 oz. bottles from Binny's. Fizzy pour, but leaves no foam when it pours.Straw color with a bit of haze. Quite light apple nose. Taste is a thin apple juice, with plenty of effervescence. Taste is dry at first, but sweetness builds as I work down. Interestng note of cinammon, though that's not on the ingredient list. Like many ciders, there's a kind of milky note as well.

Taster at Binny's, North Riverside. Sparkling cider with unobtrusive bubbles. Sort of a dry apple smell and a note of honey. Taste is almost equally split between apple and honey, but probably not enough to be called a cyser. The guy pouring (I think the co-owner) said they just use a bit of honey from their rooftop hives. Anyway, it is semi-sweet, just a note of honey and fruit.

Taster at Rotary GroveFest, Downers Grove. Only problem is it was labeled as "Semi Dry Cider," but this seems a touch to the sweet side. Pale yellow, almost white in color. Light apple juice smell with a whiff of alcohol behind it.Taste is light and sweet, and there's some effervescence that you don't always get in a light cider. Thin mouthfeel, but it does bring in some nice apple flavor. Picks up a touch of sacchrine, though, toward the end.

Draft at mad mouse. Asked the bartender if it was the dry or semi sweet, he said right in between...pretty sure it was the semi sweet as it was not mouth puckering dry. Pretty good. I’d had a few drinks at this point so my notes are a bit odd - something I would gladly try again.
