Clear dark amber-copper with a foamy large beige head, doughy aroma, adequate carbonation, initially sweet caramel malt taste, little piney bitterness coming in late, faint alcohol undertones, smooth body, long finish with alcohol burn at the end. Taster #9 at Beer Under Glass. This has the expected pine and resin smell. Opaque, hazy, almost white beer in the glass with a thin ring of foam. A nice big smack of Pacific Northwest hops. Big resin and pine needle flavor. But then there is some lemon and other citrus fruit coming up the back.
