~16 oz footer pils glass draft at Jess and Jim’s in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed golden with a well formed pure white 1/2 inch head. The aroma is a soft citrus with cracker malt. The taste is orange fruit, some floral and the cracker malt. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the hazed cracker finish.

5 oz taster draft at the Smoke Brewing Company in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The pour is a hazy brown copper with a small off white head. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, toast and a roast earthiness. The taste is a nice blend of sweet caramel malt, and traditional Scotch Ale toast, earth and peat notes. The palate is medium to heavy bodied, lower carbonation pleasant hint of warmth to the finish. Well made Scotch Ale.

Shaker pint draft at the Smoke Brewing Company in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The pour is a slight haze golden with a minimal white head. The aroma is faint, cereal malt, a hint of earth. The taste is nice, fresh mineral earth, clean dry noble hops and the cracker malt. The palate is light to medium bodied with a nice unfiltered mouthfeel, and the dry mineral finish. Nicely drinkable.

The taste is a decently clean malt grain with hay and a very faint fruit sweetness. The palate is medium to light bodied with natural carbonation and grain softly clove dry finish. Solid Pils.

The taste is softly sweet caramel malt, with grass floral towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft to low carbonation and the floral lingers a bit. Decent.

5 oz taster at Smoke Brewing Company in Lee's Summit, Missouri. The pour is a clear copper with a smaller off white head that leaves behind pretty lace. The aroma is strong old world hops with a nice cracker malt grain and a hint of alcohol, particularly as the beer warms. The taste is the floral herbal hops and cracker malt of the nose and the dry lingering heat finish. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a mineral dry finish with the floral and heat that lingers.
