IPA shaped pint glass draft at Broken Hatchet Brewing in Belton, Missouri. The pour is a mostly clear golden orange with a smallish white head that leaves behind nice lace. The aroma is faint floral, some lime citrus, soft pine and some cereal malt. The taste is clean floral lime citrus hop, nicely balanced with the cereal malt. The flavors are somewhat tame, though in a balanced and integrated way that worked. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and softly citrus bitter finish. Perhaps a hint of a watery finish as it warms. Expressed more as a Session IPA.
