16 oz curved pint glass nitro draft at the brewery in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is opaque black with a 1/2 inch light khaki head that is creamy, and nitro lasting. The aroma is softly charred roast malt, along with a hint of milk sweetness. The taste is built on the roast malt, nice char notes accent the subdued milk sweetness, that gives off only the briefest hint of chocolate. The flavor is really well integrated. The palate easy is light bodied, nitro carbonation and a dry clean finish - another easy drinking beer from Border. Nice stout, I think this will do well around town.

16 oz curved pint glass draft at the brewery in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a hazed orange copper, with a well formed off white head that leaves nice lace. The aroma is cracker, caramel malt with a nice floral hop accent on top. Nice balance, though certainly malt forward. The taste follows the nose, with a solid malt backbone with more of the toasted cracker quality than the caramel, though both are present. The hops kick in and carry through the floral dry finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation and a dry floral, softly mineral finish. Easy drinking beer, nice one.
