(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Hazy, golden colour with a big off-white-coloured and persistent foamy head. Slightly sweet and grainy wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana and a citric sourness, accompanied by shades of floral and herbal hops. Slightly sour flavour, light bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Present wheat-character, slightly yeasty taste with notes of citrus and a lighter touch of banana and mildly phenolic spices; quite dry and sourish fruity finish, also slightly tart with a tinge of bitter hops. Pretty good light Hefeweizen. 25.V.10

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden coloured, effervescent hue with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Slightly sweet and doughy malty aroma with citric and slightly grassy hops. Slightly sweet and shy bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty base with notes of sourdough and a tinge of cardboard/green-glass-bottle-syndrome; malty and slightly grassy hoppy finish. Surely a drinkable and smooth but undemanding Pilsener. 15.V.10

The bottle looks good, a little bit like Radeberger. Beer in the glass is okay, very zippy, huge head. Starts hoppy and sweet, also some flowery-grasy notes. Finish is well balanced and still sweet, modest prickly. Not bad!

bottle, Getränke Göbel Giengen. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Pleasantly hoppy aroma with a touch of perfume. Medium to full-bodied with a medicinal hop character. Intensively hoppy for a Bockbier, the malt is in the background. Herbal accents are also present, as well as some alcohol in the finish. Spircy and quite hoppy.
