500ml can from Costco advent calendar. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma of banana. Similar taste. Sweetish finish. Meh.

Tap at the festival. Grass and kiwi. Light, sparkly. Easy drinkable. A bit too chewy. Nice, though.

Hohenthanner Maibock, Fläschchen von Rewe, Zolling. - Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase stumpfes, dick getreidig-süßes helles Malz und satt zitronige, matt herbe Hopfung (kandierte Zitronenschale) mit Anklängen an Weintrauben. - Antrunk zunächst frisch und satt zitronig, bis rasch einsetzende plumpe Malzigkeit die Frische vertreibt. Matte Kandissüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang milde Hopfung, eingepackt in fette helle Malzsüße. - Satt malzbetonter heller Bock mit mild zitroniger Hopfung, ohne kernige Tiefe und überhaupt ohne Pep. Muß nicht sein. (17.5.2022.)

Half-Litre bottle from Beers of Europe: BB 22nd August 2022. Shared with my son Ben, at home on 25th April 2022. It's fairly sweet; almost clear golden body, short lived white head. Malty front with a light hop content for some balance, but it's on the sweet side as mentioned earlier in my rating.
