5.5% abv cask gravity at Harbour Arms Margate. Hazy amber colour lasting white head. A little earthy and muddy in the mouth. Some tangerine fruit. Moderate bitterness on the finish. yes just a little too earthy maybe but the finishing fruit is pleasant

Cask at the Hovelling Boat Inn - Ramsgate. Pours black-brown with a slight, creamy head. Milk chocolate in the nose, light roast, hints of berries. Medium sweet flavour with subtle bittersweet cocoa, scorched earth, ripening berries. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet too bush, with hints of burnt marshmallow, chocolate, berries, faint toasted toffee. Enjoyable.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet Easter BF 2016. Haze red russet no head. Red fruits even some rhubarb. plum strawberry jam rhubarb. Pleasing red ale. Liked it and the brown sugar by the stones that went with it.

Cask gravity at Ales of the Unexpected, Westbrook. Clear dark brown beer. I rather liked it. A traditional brown bitter, brown malts, some hops, I happily drank a half and then had most of AndrewC’s half too.

4.0% in programme but 5.2% on brewery website. Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2015. Mid brown colour hazy. Malty fruity aroma. Fuggles fruity aroma. Good flavour in the mouth. Twiggy finish. Decent condition. Good.
