500 ml bottle. Pours unclear mahagony with a creamy head. Roasted malt, roasted nuts, raisins, dry citrus zest, roasted breadcrumbs, some toffee, caramel. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry malty bittersweet finish. A very well made Dunkel, malty as it should be with a good crisp dry bitterness.

Big bottle. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is wood, fruits, some sweet malts, mild caramel as well as some slight spiciness and alcohol. Flavour is alcohol sweetness, caramel, some nectary/fruity notes along with some slight spices and honey. Long fruity and rather sweet aftertaste.

0,5 l screw top bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. Clear dark golden with a more than one finger white foamy head. Looks really good. Grassy caramel with some citrus on the nose. Increasing mid bitterness. Little bit below average carbonated. Nice and easy drinking stuff.

0,5 l screw cap bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. Nearly real black in the glass, two finger beige head. Looks really good. Toasted malty aroma, little bit metallic. Taste starts malty, increasing choco, smooth, low bitterness. Choco and nuts to the end. Low carbonated. Okay.

0,5 l screw cap bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. Clear golden with a more than one finger white head in the glass. You can´t expect more. Grassy grainy aroma. Taste starts with an intensive bitter hop part, grain and malt in the second row. Slick long lasting grainy hop bitterness with caramel in the aftertaste. Below average carbonated. Nice one.
